Paul graduated with a fashion design diploma from Blanche Macdonald Centre in Vancouver, Canada recieving an award in Collection Interpretation.
Born the son of a semstress, he learned the trade of tailoring and design from his mother. She continues to be a great inspiration for him; he dedicated his first (grad) collection to her, 'De Mi, Para Ti', Spanish for 'From Me, For You'. He spent time apprenticing under her pre and post education in her studio back in their home town of Medicine Hat. Since that time Paul John alongside a school colleague Brockton Lane designed and constructed their own collection They planned and executed a fashion show to showcase their portfolio based collection under the name knownwealth, which proved to be a great success.

Paul is currently residing in Stockholm, Sweden; with intention of continuing to pursue his dream of working in the fashion industry.
